Literally, Uṣūl al-Fiqh (principles of Islamic jurisprudence) refers to the basic sciences of Shariah, legal rules and regulations; through which an expert or jurist deduces detailed rulings from the primary sources of Islamic law. Similarly, it embodies the exclusive, broad and juridical terms for the standard sources of Shariah. Jurists and Shariah experts’ are basically supposed to extract the considered rulings and intricacies regarding impending jurisprudential issues through deduction. Thus, in this way, Islamic jurisprudence has been persistently strengthen and enriched throughout the (Islamic) world. In this backdrop, specifically, the contributions of those scholars and experts belonging to sub-continent are also noteworthy. Thus, for this purpose, the present research enlightens the reader/s about the letter collection of renowned scholar of district Nowshera, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Resultantly, the study found that, accomplished writer Maolana Mian Saad-Ullah kaka-khil was an excellent literary person. His expositions of al-Muntakhab al- Ḥusāmī and Uṣūl al-Shāshī are valuable compilations to Islamic literature. Consequently, the researchers assert that expository and comprehensive value of proposed letters is embellished and high. Since, this piece can also utilize by intellectuals and experts of the field. Moreover, Uṣūl al-Shāshī is explained, by the writer, in a unique and verifiable pattern in its Foyuḍ al-Bārī li-Uṣūl al-Shāshī. Therefore, the present study systematically outlined the results of codicology of Foyuḍ al-Bārī li-Uṣūl al-Shāshī in shape of introduction and methodology.
