An Introductory study of the works on commentaries of Sunan e Tirmizi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Abstract

Shah Waliullah spearheaded the proclamation and publication of Hadith in the sub continent.After his departure from this world his motivated students and eager scholars carried the sacred tradition to illuminate the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with Hadith. Here in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa territory not only a fastidious research has been done on the varying classification of Hadith but also a significant work has been done on Hadith treatise particularly Sunan e Tirmizi which remained the focal point of resaerch and investigation .

In addition, religious schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa diverse lectures and oral disquisition of the conscious Hadith have been gathered on a single platform in a form of book, distributed as well. In this connection, the researcher found approximately twenty five treatises published as well as unpublished which have not been distributed yet. In this dissertation the work of famous Hadith scholars will be reviewed and investigated while the current initial analysis will range from 1901-2015 time period.This exploration will most likely help us to understand the exhausting endeavors by the Hadith scholars.
