Contemporary Issues extracted from the Rulings of the Holy Quran with reference to the Maa’rif ul Quran & Tibyanul Quran

Abstract

This article appraises the two exegeses of the Holy Qur´Én in which the commentators have addressed the contemporary issues in light of the injunctions of the Holy Book. Most of the issues are in the form of fatwa’s or different books as different scholars from subcontinent have contributed in this regard. Advanced issues are numerous. Some of them are related to modern medicine, some to modern economic problems and some to society, and others to worship. This article focuses on the contemporary issues extracted from the rulings of the Holy Qur´Én with reference to two commentaries of the Quran namely Maa’rif - al - Qur´Én and Tibyan -al - Qur´Én.
